Due to time restraints some of these answers are shorter than I wanted, but I will update - so visit me again soon. I hope you find my answer honest, and you will perhaps find out more about me and consider voting for the only Independent standing in South West Devon. I believe a Candidate should be contactable by any means a constituent chooses. (No Carrier pigeons please!), An issue which we have now is you can not tell where a candidate lives - even if they regualy use the word "Local". You will see my Name and Address is on everything I write, even the Ballot paper, so you can check I actually live in the constituency. You can personally put a letter through my letterbox. The only other address printed on the ballot paper actually lives in a neighbouring constituency. Nice chap, no issues there - But I feel strongly a candidate should live in the constituency they represent, and not be parachuted in. Vote Local, where Local means same constituency |
